How to change the folder for your 3D View files and store them on an external drive

Step 1:

Go to Help & Options.

Step 2:

Click on the “Change folders” button. 

Step 3:

Choose a new folder for your files.

Step 4:

Now all your 3D View files will be saved to the selected folder.
