This job requires high levels of creativity and strategic thinking, with a global mindset, as you’ll be responsible for developing and executing Cappasity product partnerships and sales.

You should be as comfortable pitching and negotiating deals with partners as working cross-functionally with colleagues in Product, Engineering, Customer Support, Finance, Marketing, and Legal to negotiate and launch partnerships that meet the strategic objectives of Cappasity.
The Business Development Manager will drive strategic partner acquisition and revenue by identifying and cultivating relationships with C-level executives in the CPG and Home Appliance space.

You will:

  • Identify opportunities with a focus on sales into target customer segments, creation of channels for high-volume sales, and identification of strategic partnerships
  • Establish and maintain prospect relationships to bring opportunities to close
  • Public speaking on events, trade shows
  • Provide regular updates on status of opportunities keeping CRM neat and always up-to-date
  • Achieve deal success to meet company sales and revenue targets

You should have:

  • Hunter mentality with an ability to simply convey complex ideas
  • Executive presence with strong communication skills
  • Previous experience establishing profit-generating relationships for B2B software products
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with outstanding ability to close deals
  • 5+ years experience in early-stage company business development, sales, or channel/partnerships
